French organic retail chain Naturalia has collaborated with Swiss supermarket operator Migros Geneva on a bold organic store-within-a-store project at its Migros Balexert (Geneva) hypermarket.
The new organic zone, with its Nature& branding, is being billed as the “largest organic and sustainable retail space in French-speaking Switzerland”
“Enabling everyone to eat healthily while respecting the planet without wasting their resources and generating as little waste as possible is a strategic objective of Migros Geneva,” explained Lionel Brasier, a director at Migros Geneva.
As well as an extensive range of Naturalia branded products, the Nature& zone creates plenty of space for locally sourced Swiss products, including an “unprecedented” offer from the 40 producers of Union Maraîchère de Genève (a collective of produce growers from the region).
Naturalia, is a leading French specialist organic food retailer, operating around 200 stores in France, offering up to 10,000 organic lines.
