‘Fantastic fit’ Henley to be Planet Organic’s first outside London location

Planet Organic has confirmed that Henley-on-Thames will be the location for its first store outside of London. 

The location meets the retailer’s criteria of being within a 45 minute drive of its new distribution centre in Sunbury-on-Thames, West London, which forms part of a major expansion plan announced earlier this year. In May, Planet Organic CEO George Dymond told Sky News that the chain plans to increase its retail portfolio from the current 13 stores, to 50 by 2025. 

The new 2,440 sq ft Henley store will occupy a former Superdrug site in the Oxfordshire town.

Planet Organic property director Nick Ridley said: “We’re hugely excited to announce the forthcoming opening of our latest store in Henley. It marks a pivotal moment in our growth plans as we expand outside of London for the first time.
