Daylesford Organic is launching a range of branded pet food, dog beds and pet accessories in November.
The new pet range covers treats, cold-pressed dry food and organic wet food. Made in collaboration with trusted suppliers, the menu has been created exclusively for the UK-based premium organic brand. The recipes are made with natural and grass-fed produce, including organic offal sourced from our farm, to create wholesome and balanced meals.
Three types of organic dog treats are made in small batches with specific benefits in mind. A vegan treat designed for fresh breath is made with mint, honey and basil. Good Coat Treats meanwhile use Daylesford Organic chicken livers with chia seeds and turmeric, and Dreamtime Treats for calming sleep mixes Daylesford Organic chicken livers with chamomile and pumpkin seeds. All treats are priced at £5.99 and are grain, gluten, and sugar free.
In November, a selection of “nutritionally dense” cold-pressed dry food will be launched for dogs. The method of cold pressing has added benefits to other dry foods, says Daylesford. “Not only does it retain more flavour, aroma, vitamins and nutritional value, which is essential to growth, digestion and good health, but it also reduces bloating and is ideal for sensitive stomachs”. Variants include Salmon Root Vegetable & Seaweed, Grass Fed Lamb, Brown Rice & Peas and Lean Venison, Sweet Potato & Spirulina. Each recipe is high in antioxidants and supports the immune system and a balanced gut. Dry food is available in 2kg bags (£19.99-£22.99), suitable for small dogs and puppies, as well as 6kg size for larger dogs (£51.99-58.99).
Completing the range, five different varieties of canned pet food cater for both cats and dogs, with dog food available in either 150g or 400g. Dogs have the option of Organic Beef with Vegetables including potatoes and peas (£1.69/£2.99), Organic Chicken and Vegetables (£1.89/£2.99) or Game & Pheasant with potato, beetroot and kale (£1.49/£2.99). For cats, there is Organic Chicken with Salmon or simple Organic Chicken (both £1.19 for 85g). Each portion is high in protein and packed with vitamins and minerals, without any grains or added sugar, and is excellent for maintaining skin and coat health.
Daylesford’s new feather and down-filled Lucky Dog Beds are hand made in Britain from heavy duty cotton canvas. A choice of Cornflower Blue, Sand and Charcoal all come in small (£140), medium (£195) and large (£275) for different sized pooches.
Accessories include cotton bandanas, leads, collars and toys. Handmade in the UK, Lucky Cotton Canvas slip on collars (£35) and matching leads (£45) are furnished with sturdy nickel hardware and come in navy, red and khaki with a Daylesford Spaniel Badge. And, Daylesford’s beaded leather leads and collars are handmade in Kenya with detailing in either dark green and blue or dark green and red (£29-£55).
