Natural Newsdesk is an award-winning journalism project of writer and editor, Jim Manson.
Jim has edited a string of specialist magazines and websites on natural and organic food, and environment issues. Jim was launch editor of Natural Products Global, whose influence and audience grew steadily under his editorship. He has also written for national newspapers and magazines including The Guardian, Financial Times, The Times and Time Out. He is a regular speaker and presenter at conferences and trade shows, and has hosted awards ceremonies in the UK and across Europe.
In 2020 Jim launched the Natural Newsdesk website, which delivers news, comment and analysis to the international natural and organic community.
Jim was awarded the HFMA Media Communicator of the Year Award at ceremony at the Wellcome Collection in London, in April 2026. The award was made: “In recognition of your support for the industry, bringing the news to the trade and beyond, not being afraid to push the boundaries with controversial stories and your dedication to furthering reporting on the industry to a wider audience”.
