Nordic organic leaders will use this year’s Nordic Organic Food Fair as a platform to debate how the sector can work collaboratively to be food system change-makers.
The debate will be facilitated by Europe’s lead organic advocacy grouping, IFOAM Organics Europe.
Taking place for the first time at Kistamässan Stockholm – the ‘Big Nordic Organic Debate’ will bring together organic leaders from Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Iceland to share their insights on the dynamics of organic in their respective markets. The discussion is likely to be a bit draw for retailers, brands and other organic Industry stakeholders looking be briefed on current trends and market opportunities.
Last year’s debate included Aura Lamminparras (CEO of Pro Luomu ry); Charlotte Bladh André (CEO, Organic Sweden); Helle Borup Friberg (CEO, Organic Denmark); Eyglo Bjork Olafsdottir (Chairman, Organic Iceland); Markus Lohne Hustad (CEO, Økologisk Norge); and Joanna Wierzbicka (Deputy Director / Strategic Initiatives Manager from IFOAM Organics Europe) – who facilitated the session.
