Back for its first live event since 2019, the Natural Health Trade Summit opens its doors this Sunday, 3 October, to welcome the independent health food trade back together again.
A hotbed for innovation, the show encourages retailers to meet, learn and share ideas. The show’s main attraction is its exhibition, with more than 100 brands showcasing their support for independents with new product launches and show-only offers. Exhibitors confirmed so far include A.Vogel, Absolute Aromas, Bio-Kult, BetterYou, Clearspring, HealthAid, Good Health Naturally, Lamberts Healthcare, Lifeplan Products, Natures Aid, OptiBac, Pharma Nord, Viridian Nutrition and many more. Full for the full list, visit nhtsummit.co.uk/exhibition.
Networking is also key, and with such a long time since retailers have had a chance to speak to suppliers face-to-face, the opportunity to meet in-person has never been so important. The Summit encourages networking with a free healthy buffet lunch for every retail visitor and free refreshments available all day.
Len Glenville, chairman of the National Association of Health Stores (NAHS), commented: “The Natural Health Trade Summit has always been an important date in the industry’s calendar and no more so than this year. To meet with old industry friends, connect face-to-face with suppliers and talk to like-minded retailers has been sorely missed, so we encourage every health store in the UK to register free and join us at what promises to be a special event.”.
Back to business, safelyThe organiser, Target Publishing, continue to work closely with the venue and monitor government guidance.
Delegates and exhibitors will be reminded not to attend if they are showing any symptoms related to COVID-19. Public areas will be cleaned frequently throughout the day and hand sanitiser stations will be available in all areas and their use will be encouraged. The use of face coverings is voluntary.
