Oven-ready solutions from Daylesford 

UK-based Daylesford has introduced ten new wholesome organic oven-ready meals from November. Made by hand in small batches, the new collection of oven-ready nutritious meals uses perfectly ripe, fresh and whole ingredients. Traditional methods, such as slow cooking, have been used to bring out the natural flavours and lock in goodness for a nourishing and balanced dish. 

Serving two people and priced from £9.99, the new menu of meals includes both vegan and meat-based options. All packaging is fully recyclable, and the plastic trays are made from 80% recycled content. Ingredients are organic unless marked otherwise.

HayMax Wins WGTD 2021 Gold Award

UK-based Viridian Nutrition is putting the spotlight on men’s health with the launch of two new supplement innovations.

Essential Man Formula is a complete multivitamin and mineral supplement with selected phytonutrients for men aged 18-65 and Man 50+ Prostate Complex harnesses natural botanicals to support normal prostate function.

The new launches are in line with a survey revealing that nearly as many men (47%) as women (53%) are taking supplements on a daily basis.

The research on behalf of the Health Food Manufacturers’ Association of 10,000 adults revealed 71.2% those surveyed were taking supplements, with almost half taking every daily.

Biogran claims first for organic plant-based burger 

Spain-based Biogran says its new organic plant-based hamburger is the first on the market, made from pea protein. 

The new 100% vegan burger is made with organically grown ingredients (peas, virgin olive oil and other plant-based protein foods). In addition, the new product comes with highest environment and biodiversity credentials./ 

This innovation joins other new products that Biogran has launched this year, being one of the most disruptive companies in the bio food sector. Launched  with under the El Granero’s brand the Like A Burger product is available in two chilled variants, natural and barbecue flavour.
