Green cleaning pioneer Ecover is teaming with the Mr Men children’s book series, in a bid to encourage young children to develop the refill and reuse habit.

The hope is that a specially created new character and book – Little Miss Waste Less – will inspire future generations to waste less and and discover ways to put green thinking into action.

Mr. Men Worldwide’s Silvia Figini said: “We truly believe in the power of storytelling to ignite behaviour change.

“Mr. Men Little Miss tales have always been about identifying yourself, and Mr. Men Little Miss characters, like all of us, sometimes struggle to stay on top of the amount of plastic waste in their homes.”

The new character was create by Adam Hargreaves, son of the Mr Men series’ inventor Roger Hargreaves. It is available to read free as a PDF (downloadable from the Ecover website), and a physical book will give to Ecover refill customers during December.
