The organiser of the Biofach, the world’s biggest organic trade event, believes the future of trade fairs is almost certainly going to be “hybrid”.
NürnbergMesse says that its Biofach and Vivaness events (14 to 17 February 2023, Nuremberg), will deliver the “best of both worlds” by “creating a meaningful combination of digital opportunities and on-site trade fair activities”.
The Biofach organiser says that while here is no substitute for a first-hand experience with all senses, the digital event platform which it established in 2022 for its one-off summer edition provided an “ideal complement” to the in-person event.
Declaring that the “future of trade fairs is hybrid,” NürnbergMesse says that its Biofach and Vivaness events will offer a new dimension of added value: “The ability to plan your trade fair visit with the aid of a floor plan and an overview of products and services; arranging appointments in-person and online; matchmaking; and the fact the Congress will be available in digital form beyond the actual event timeframe.”
All the content and functions of the digital event platform are available on a dedicated app in addition to a desktop version.
The digital event platform aims to offer the organic food and natural and organic personal care community an all-in-one solution “from preparation to on-site use, follow-up and access to congress presentations after the event”.
