The Nordic Organic Food Fair and Eco Living Scandinavia trade show duo will move to KistaMässan in Stockholm for the events’ 2024 edition, organiser Diversified has announced.
The move follows feedback from exhibitors and visitors, who say the event will benefit from being closer to the larger retail groups in Sweden, who are mostly based in Stockholm, as well as offering easy access from Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki and the other major Nordic cities – and for buyers and exhibitors from further afield.
It is hoped that the move to the Swedish capital will open the show up to important new buyers who have previously found it difficult to attend the show, as well as attract those already attending.
Event director, Melina Viking, says: “We have listened hard to our partners, exhibitors and friends across the sector, who have encouraged us to bring the show to a new audience by moving to Stockholm. We are delighted to have been able to secure KistaMässan for 2024, which is located close to central Stockholm and the airport. Malmö has been a fantastic venue for the event for many years, and we will be back. But for 2024, after so many successful years in Malmö, many people felt they wanted the show to relocate to Stockholm, to attract more of the major buyers located in the area and to keep the event fresh, with a new focus”.
