Renée Elliott, founder of Planet Organic and co-Founder of Women Tree has been announced as a keynote speaker at next month’s Natural & Organic Products Expo (NOPEX) event, taking place on 14-15 April at ExCeL London. 

Elliott founded Planet Organic, the UK’s first organic supermarket, in 1995. With a mission to promote health in the community and support the earth’s biodiversity, she challenged conventional retailing and showed that values-led, commercially driven business was ‘good business’. 

Taking place Sunday 14 April at 12pm on the event’s Main Stage, Elliot will share her story of founding, fighting for, growing and losing Planet Organic, plus the miraculous turn of fate that brought it back to her. In a frank and honest account of the “rollercoaster of entrepreneurship”, she’ll share lessons and truths she’s learned along the way.
