Powdered peanut butter brand Peanut Hottie has undergone a significant makeover to offer a more sustainable packaging option that also ensures all consumers are aware of the many ways that this popular product can actually be enjoyed.

The packaging format has changed from a previous 180g tub to a fully recyclable and resealable PE pouch pack featuring enticing imagery on the pack front showing some of the many ways consumers are enjoying this product.

Lisa Gawthorne, co-founder, Bravura Foods (owners of Peanut Hottie) commented “We have been inundated on social media with so many unique and creative ways consumers are using this product other than being used as a spread and we wanted to capture and illustrate this on pack whilst changing to a more sustainable packaging option.”

Originally launched in 2012 in the UK and the USA as a hot drink, Peanut Hottie quickly evolved into a powdered peanut butter that can be used in drinks, smoothies, cereals, power bowls and countless baking and cooking options. It is a defatted recipe but retains all the protein.

Karl Morris co-founder, Bravura Foods adds “It’s such a versatile product, you can spread it, drizzle it, blend it, shake it, sprinkle it, bake or cook with it and it’s a fun product and we wanted the new packaging format to also highlight that as well as being suitable for the sustainable shopper.”

The product is approved by the vegan society and has been listed by Amazon, Grape Tree, Dolphin Fitness and independent health food stores nationwide.
