Coinciding with Skin Cancer Awareness Month, organic beauty pioneer Green People has partnered with O2 to launch a limited edition mobile phone accessory as part of the network provider’s latest campaign backed by The British Skincare Foundation.
Designed to fit perfectly into a variety of handsets, the 100% sustainable bioplastic Sun Case contains a built-in 10ml tube of Green People’s Age Defy+ Daily SPF30 Moisturiser to help holidaymakers combat SPF emergencies.
“SPF has always been a huge part of the Green People offering so we are thrilled to be partnering with O2 and The British Skin Foundation,” says Green People founder Charlotte Vøhtz. “We’re all guilty of being attached to our phones, so the ‘Sun Case’ is a great way of reminding us all to make SPF the same priority.”
Green People’s Age Defy+ Daily SPF30 Moisturiser combines potent plant antioxidants with all-important SPF 30 to protect skin against sun-induced skin ageing. The formula is enhanced with buds from the everlasting youth tree which are known to strengthen the skin’s epidermal structure, smooth fine lines and boost hydration by 30%.
Non-greasy and non-whitening, the day cream gives skin a radiant glow thanks to the addition of organic rosehip and pomegranate oils.
The limited edition accessory is free to consumers and will be available at selected O2 stores across the country from 15 May 2024, while stocks last. Regardless of their mobile provider, consumers can get the accessory on a first-come, first-served basis by visiting participating stores and saying ‘don’t get burnt’ to a staff member.
Other new skin protection innovations from Green People for this summer include SPF15 Sun Cream with Natural Insect Repellent, Scent Free Mineral Suncream SPF30 and Moisturising After Sun with Natural Insect Repellent.
