Over 70 Independent and specialist retailers across Britain took part last week in the annual Wake Up To Organic promotion.
The event, launched in 2015, is organised by UK Organic and was this year supported Clearspring and HayMax who provided participating retailers with a generous sampling pack to build their store’s event around.
Jon Inder, from Greenlife in Totness, told Natural Newsdesk: “’Wake Up To Organic was a great event in Greenlife this year. We had a real buzz in store as customers tucked in to a range of fantastic breakfast foods. We are very grateful for the support of all of our organic suppliers in making the event a huge success.” Wake Up To Organic is such a successful event for Greenlife that the retailer extends it over three mornings. “We also run a selection of ‘in house’ special offers for the whole week and make our own in house point of sale (posters and shelf barkers, a couple of examples attached) to push the event,” Inder says.
