Erica Murray has been unanimously elected as the new President of Health Stores Ireland.
Murray is the owner The Hopsack in Dublin, a long-established family-owned business that she runs alongside her daughter Kate, and son Finn.
Driving force
Posting on LinkedIn, Health Stores Ireland’s national organiser, Alan McGrath, said: “As one of our founding members, Erica has been the driving force behind so many of our initiatives over the years. She’s led national campaigns, worked closely with regulators, and helped shape our industry standards. Many of you will already know her as one of our go-to media voices for the sector.
“Looking ahead, Erica will be representing us at conferences, awards ceremonies, and all those important industry events. She’s also been instrumental in developing our customer care protocols and code of ethics, so she’s perfectly positioned to champion what we stand for.
Leadership tradition
“It’s wonderful to see this leadership tradition continue in the organisation – Erica’s sister Jill Bell previously served as president, and now Erica is taking up the mantle from Gerald Colfer, who stepped down earlier this year after his dedicated service.”
