G&G Vitamins marked its 60th anniversary on the afternoon of the 18th of July with a vibrant and heartfelt celebration held at Kingdom in Penshurst. Over a hundred guests – comprising staff, family, clients, and long-time supporters of the business, including representatives from the HFMA and Soil Association – gathered for the day’s celebrations.

It was an afternoon of great conversations, enthralling speeches and exciting future plans, honouring six decades of innovation, family values, and health-focused manufacturing.

The event commemorated six decades of supplement manufacturing, staying true to the family-run company’s roots, founding mission and ethics. It featured captivating speeches from Director Lizzy Calcioli – daughter of founders David and Sheila Gaiman and CEO Myles McEntyre. Special guest speaker Penny Viner, from the HFMA, presented Chairman Mauro Calcioli with an award on behalf of the company, recognising G&G’s long-standing commitment to quality, integrity, and wellbeing.

Guests were treated to an afternoon filled with symbolic touches honouring G&G’s heritage, including a stunning anniversary cake displayed on six pastel-coloured tiers of macarons, each tier representing a decade of the company’s journey.

Attendees also received hand-tied gift bags featuring a special edition Vitamin E supplement – a heartfelt nod to G&G’s origins. This product was the very first supplement formulated by David and Sheila Gaiman, created out of necessity when they couldn’t find a strong enough Vitamin E supplement to meet their personal health requirements. It marked the beginning of G&G’s enduring philosophy: to make supplements they themselves believed in that avoided the use of unnecessary fillers, binders and excipients.

“For six decades, we’ve stayed true to our mission: to improve people’s health and wellbeing through high-quality food supplements” said CEO Myles McEntyre. “Since those early days, that belief has remained at the very heart of everything we do.”

Guests enjoyed food, a live band, and a visual timeline of the company’s history, set against the scenic backdrop of the Kent countryside. The event also highlighted G&G’s continued growth, “As part of our continued expansion we are thrilled to announce that G&G has acquired new premises and will be investing in a state of the art clean room- to further enhance our capabilities allowing us to double our capacity” – Myles McEntyre.

As G&G enters its seventh decade, the company remains proudly independent, family-led, and committed to in-house UK manufacturing — producing every supplement with the same care and conviction that sparked its founding in 1965.

G&G Vitamins was founded by David and Sheila Gaiman in 1965 and  has been formulating and manufacturing premium supplements from its East Grinstead facility for 60 years. Committed to transparency, sustainability, and health-first innovation, G&G is one of the UK’s few supplement companies to produce every product in-house.
