Long queues formed for the opening of Whole Foods Market’s new Islington store this week.
The new 4,000 sq ft unit occupies a former electricity sub-station, which has long been a local landmark.
Owner Amazon announced in September that it would add 12 new Whole Foods outlets across the capital in 2026, following a shake-up of its Amazon Fresh business. It has now named locations for the first six of these new smaller format stores
