Innermost has renamed its Energy Booster supplement as The Workout Blend, retaining the existing formulation while changing the product name and packaging.

The sports nutrition brand says the move is intended to make the product’s purpose clearer to consumers. The Workout Blend is positioned as a pre- and intra-workout supplement designed to provide energy and support endurance and performance during training.

The formulation includes citrulline malate, beta-alanine, 5g of BCAAs in a 2:1:1 ratio, caffeine and guarana, as well as maca and a full B-vitamin complex. Innermost says the product provides full ingredient and dosage information rather than using a proprietary blend.

The company says the renamed product reflects growing consumer interest in understanding the ingredients and quantities contained in sports nutrition products. The emphasis on disclosed dosages is intended to give users more information when comparing supplements in the pre-workout category.

The Workout Blend is designed to be mixed with 350ml of cold water and is available in Wild Berry and Tropical Pineapple flavours. Innermost says the product is formulated to mix without the chalky texture associated with some pre-workout products.

The renaming does not represent a reformulation, with Innermost confirming that the ingredients and formula remain unchanged. The company says the primary change is the product identity, with “The Workout Blend” intended to communicate its use more directly than the previous Energy Booster name.
