Last weekend’s NHT Summit attracted more than 100 health food stores as the industry came together in Bristol.

The event is designed exclusively for independent health food stores and is held in partnership with Health Stores UK. The recent Bristol event follows a successful show earlier in the year in Manchester.

The Bristol event was sold out in terms of exhibition space, and also attracted the support of show partners, Viridian, Lamberts, Essential Trading, and Solgar. It proved to be one of the most successful one of the most successful events in the NHT Summit series to date, with more than 200 retail buyers visiting from over 100 health food stores.

Commenting on the event, sales director, Ruth Gilmour, said: “Our NHT Summit in Bristol has grown to become a hugely popular show in the events calendar, and we believe this is because it delivers what is important to health stores – an event targeted directly at them, with brands exhibiting because it is a channel of importance to their business. This year’s Bristol show was buoyant, with a positive atmosphere, plenty of new product launches, and show deals to be had. We would like to thank all the retailers who took the time to visit, and for our show partners and exhibitors – without your support, we wouldn’t be able to host such an important event for the health food trade. We look forward to returning to Bristol next year.”

As well as all the activity on the show floor, the NHT Summit also hosted the Product Awards, voted for by retailers on the day. The honours went to:

The NHT Summit now moves to Ireland, with the third and final event of 2026 taking place on October 18 at The Crowne Plaza Dublin. Held in partnership with Health Stores Ireland, retailers can register in advance to visit at www.nhtsummit.ie
