Planet Organic has launched an own-label supplements range as the first offering from its new ‘Planet Originals’ stable.
The pioneering natural and organic retailer says the new 10-product-strong range is the result of “millions of conversations with customers over the last 26 years, along with consultations with its expert team of pharmacists, nutritionists, and store colleagues”. Planet worked alongside nutritional ingredients specialist, Cambridge Commodities, on the formulation of the range.
Planet Organic explains that while it remains fully committed to organic as a business the new supplements range is a not organic due to “due to it not possible to source certain minerals from organic sources”. The brand set itself the task of finding alternative routes to producing a range offering customers sustainable, healthy, and natural products, without organic certification – while carrying the Planet name and the guarantees of quality and sustainability associated with it.
George Dymond, Planet Organic CEO, said “It’s a real milestone for us to be able to announce the launch of our range of Planet Originals supplements. The range has been developed in collaboration with Cambridge Commodities, a leading supplier of nutritional ingredients both in the UK and globally, with the company sharing Planet’s mission for creating products which are as good as possible for the people taking them, and for the planet.
