Historically, Wake Up To Organic was a one day event celebrating organic products, encouraging shoppers to start their day with an organic breakfast. Hundreds of independent shops used to join in, with thousands of mini breakfasts served in only a few hours.
The event was put on pause from 2020 onwards, but as brands and shops continued to ask for its return, the OTB, Go Organic and Clearspring listened to the call and are reviving the event.
For this year’s soft relaunch, 50 independent retailers will be sampling with OTB/Clearspring packs with hopefully many more retailers joining in sampling a variety of organic breakfast options. Retailers are being asked to share photos on social media tagging #WakeUpToOrganic and both @organicUK and @clearspringUK. The best three organic spreads will receive a special Go Organic hamper full of products to share with their staff, as well as a one year free membership with the OTB.
To promote the campaign on social media, the OTB, Go Organic and Clearspring will be offering ten competition hampers to members of the public who share how they wake up to organic. They will also be sharing a selection of breakfast recipes in the run up to 7th June.
