Cold-brew coffee innovator Unconfirmed is quickly making waves in the specialist natural products retail channel. Launched in August 25 it has already secured 600-store distribution in Holland & Barrett starting in January.
The brand is tapping into a growing demand from consumers looking for alternatives to traditional coffee offerings, preferring a chilled alternative with a caffeine hit – but with added functional benefits.
Unconform’s cold-brew range (RRP £2.50 250ml) is created by soaking high-quality Arabica coffee beans in cold water overnight. By soaking the beans overnight in cold water, it’s possible to avoid both the bitter after tastes and extreme caffeine rushes commonly associated with putting top-notch coffee beans in close proximity to boiling water.
Having created three appealing coffee propositions (with over 100mg caffeine), Unconform adds oat mylk and some beneficial nootropics (vitamins and plant extracts) to create a tasty beverage “with added edge”.
