Galway-based Evergreen Healthfoods has been celebrating an impressive set of Health Food Institute Diploma (HFI) results.
Sara Pezatti, who completed her HFI Diploma 2 in Health Food Retailing achieved a remarkable score of 98%. Tania Rubio, Viktoriia Lystopad and Faezeh Abbassi meanwhile completed their HFI Diploma 1 in Health Food Retailing.
Health Stores Ireland national organiser, Alan McGrath, said: “Evergreen have been an enthusiastic advocate for HFI training and have consistently taken the top award in this category at Health Stores Ireland’s annual awards. It’s fantastic to see three more knowledgeable professionals joining the ranks of qualified health food retailers. I’d really urge retailers to follow their example and consider using the new affordable Foundation Certificate to ease themselves and their colleagues into certified training.
“It’s always great to see store founders championing their team’s development. So we were delighted that Health Food Institute Fellow and Evergreen founder, Aideen Hurley, was there for the formal presentations along with Sarah Sullivan from The Natural Medicine Company, hamper sponsors. A massive acknowledgement too to Brid Smyth, Evergreen Training Co-ordinator, whose support and guidance make moments like these possible. Well done to everyone involved. This is exactly what professional development in health food retail looks like.”
