“We see that innovative advanced products are helping to drive the organic market forward. In order to develop organic products in new categories, good basic products must already be available. Denmark has built up this basis over the past 30 year”
Organic Denmark will present itself to the international trade public at the eSpecial of the world’s leading trade fair for organic food, Biofach 2021, from 17 to 19 February 2021. In addition, the organisation and its co-exhibitors have created their own virtual platform at http://www.denmarkespecial.com, where they offer numerous information and dialogue opportunities on companies, products and concepts.
“We see that innovative advanced products are helping to drive the organic market forward. In order to develop organic products in new categories, good basic products must already be available. Denmark has built up this basis over the past 30 years,” says Pernille Bundgård, international market director at Organic Denmark.
“The Danish organic market has great potential for the coming years. The trend is towards a wider choice and more specialised products, for example in drinks, snacks and plant-based products. These are some of the categories for which we see growing demand in neighbouring and also more distant markets in the coming years,” says Bundgård. “We will discuss with interested parties from industry, food service and grocery which concepts can be implemented in the individual markets to achieve high added value through sustainable and organic products. Our doors are open for this in numerous formats around Biofach.”
