Aduna says it has been able to double its impact in rural Ghana, thanks to record sales of its Superfood Blends, and has relaunched the range in new, user-friendly recycled tubs.

The brand says its Superfood Blends are the only superfoods to be verified by B Corp, FairWild and People & Planet First, making them ‘a powerful proposition’ for shoppers looking for products that deliver on both health and positive impact.

Each functional blend combines ten plant-based superfoods, including 29-45% of baobab, delivering targeted health benefits and direct social and environmental impact. The range has earned accolades including Gold at the Sustainable Food Awards and Silver at the Wellness From Within Awards.

“Our mission at Aduna has always been to connect consumers with the incredible power of superfoods”

The five-strong offer comprises:

  • Mind – helps manage stress and enhance focus with lion’s mane and resishi, cacao, schisandra and moringa
  • Good Gut (formerly Digestion) – high in fibre and prebiotics, this nourishes the gut microbiome and supports digestion with cinnamon, flaxseeds, ginger and chamomile
  • Super Greens – offers a daily boost for immunity, energy and gut health with moringa, spirulina, chlorella and wheatgrass
  • Energy – with natural caffeine from guarana and matcha, plus maca and baobab, this blend is designed to fight fatigue and build resilience
  • Radiance (formerly Beauty) – supports collagen formation and radiant skin with vitamin C-rich baobab, açai, goji and hibiscus.

The blends are organic, vegan and free from added sugar, sweeteners, synthetic nutrients or additives. Each serving is a natural source of vitamin C and fibre.

The range forms part of the sustainable superfood brand’s #MakeBaobabFamous initiative, which uses baobab as a vehicle to support rural African communities and regenerate degraded land. Strong consumer uptake – 101% uplift in Aduna’s sales in the year following launch – has seen Aduna double the number of female farmers it supports in West Africa from 1,500 to 3,300, enabling them to provide for more than 20,000 family members.

CEO Andrew Hunt comments: “Our mission at Aduna has always been to connect consumers with the incredible power of superfoods – not just for their health benefits, but to create life-changing income for the indigenous communities who produce them. Our baobab-powered Superfood Blends, now in new and improved packaging, make it easier than ever for consumers to build wellness into their daily routine while being part of a bigger movement to support producers, uplift communities and restore ecosystems.”
