Mr Organic is relaunching its pesto range, which will include new recipes and a larger size jar.
The seven different flavours of Mr Organic’s Pesto are carefully crafted using organic ingredients in Italy. Previously, the pestos were in a 130g jar but this has been bumped up to a more family-friendly 190g . The recipe has also been redeveloped to improve texture and authentic Italian taste.
The new large format jars have clear label designs with a branded lid that features the Mr Organic face. The modern design also displays the new Mr Organic logo that has been embossed for a more premium feel. All of Mr Organic products have been rebranded, and the new Pesto designs now display the number of Plant Points in each jar, making it easier for shoppers to count their ‘30 plants a week’ for a diverse diet.
Stephanie Lee, the brand manager at Mr Organic said, “We are very excited to launch our new Italian organic Pestos. The new recipes crafted by chef Andrea are even more delicious, the larger size makes it perfect for sharing, and they look great on-shelf and online. The labels alsodisplay Plant Points, something we think that our shoppers will be interested in, helping them tally their plants for the week.”
Mr Organic’s plant-based Pesto range consists of Basil Pesto, Basil & Chilli Pesto, Grilled Pepper Pesto, Aubergine Pesto, Sundried Tomato Pesto, Tomato & Olive Pesto, and Chilli & Garlic Pesto.
The new Pestos will start to roll out on Ocado, Abel & Cole, and independents in the next month. Each jar has an RRP of £3.89
